Set in 19 acres of beautiful gardens, Eltham Palace is a masterpiece of 20th-century design. Completed in 1936, the red brick exterior of the house was built in sympathy with the adjoining Great Hall of medieval Eltham Palace. Inside is a glamorous 1930s showpiece, an eclectic mix of Art Deco, ultra-smart ocean-liner style and cutting-edge Swedish design. We need volunteers to help bring the palace to life by welcoming visitors and providing information about the history of the palace and the Courtauld family. For more information visit More info >>
