About Mottingham

Mottingham is split between 2 boroughs, the London Borough of Bromley and the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It has good transport links to central London and is close to the Kent countryside.

It has open, green spaces around it with the Tarn, a beautiful landscaped garden and lake with interesting wildfowl and a bird sanctuary, just opposite Mottingham Station, and Elmstead, Chislehurst and Marvels Woods close by It has 2 main shopping centres, Kimeridge Cross and Mottingham Village.

W G Grace, the famous cricketer moved here in 1909 and played for Eltham Cricket Club.
